British designs.
Francis Farmar is a painter of places appearing to fly above the landscape in order to describe more than can normally be seen. Having painted from an early age Francis went onto work for the auctioneers Christies, as Director of Modern British and Irish pictures.
He now divides his time between his studio in Dorset, London and travelling abroad.
This design of Henley Regatta was part of a series of paintings covering the English Season.
