Peter Wigley took early retirement in 2001 and started painting landscapes from his home in Derbyshire. He started using watercolours in his early work but now prefers oil and acrylic as he likes the texture and energy that is left by the medium.
Bluebell Wood - Inspired by the Impressionists, he has captured the essence and atmosphere in his design on one of his walks near his home in Derbyshire.

Staithes Beck - Painted in his studio with oils this design shows the magic of Staithes Beck, a location used by artists for centuries.
