Kay Widdowson initially studied film and tv graphics at Chesterfield College of Art and Design before going on to work in children’s tv as an animator in the early 1980’s. She now illustrates books in her Victorian terraced house with her rescue cat Beebee.

 

This design was painted in parts and then added together using a computer. Kay has combined her love for animals, blue and white Willow pattern china and classic Staffordshire dogs!
